I really enjoyed reading your 100 word challenge as I love the idea of adopting a pet. However, I’ve never heard of anyone adopting a racoon! The words you’ve used in your writing have contributed so much to your story and I almost felt like I was there and could see you being ‘ecstatic’. The way you wrote ‘suddenly the racoon shot out of the box’ gave the story an urgency about it and again created a vivid picture in my mind of what the racoon was doing. Well done! An excellent 100 word challenge response.
