This is a fantastic response to this week’s prompt and I really enjoyed reading it. It is so creative and I could see what was happening in my mind from your excellent writing. I love the characters you have created and how you have woven the story. From the very start you created a very atmospheric piece eg when you wrote that they lived ‘near the top of the mountains’ and ‘a jewel clinked’. The introduction of the dragon and the stories that went with him made the story very tense and your cliffhanger ending had me wanting to read more and find out what happened. Well done. Excellent writing.
